Two in One Hike: All adventurous men, wives, and mature kids are invited to join us as we hike Redcloud (14,034 ft) and Sunshine Peaks (14,001 ft) on Saturday, July 17, 2021. The trail is rated as a moderate Class 2 hike. You may choose to hike just Redcloud or stretch your Warrior limits by climbing both. No hiking experience is necessary, but we do recommend you get in shape to make it an easier and more enjoyable trek.
Directions & Camping: For directions to the Northeast Ridge trailhead, go to any reputable 14er hiking website. We will be camping out Friday night in the open field close to the trailhead and will set out early Saturday morning. Outhouse-type restrooms available.
Hiking Gear: Since everyone’s needs vary according to personal health conditions, we suggest going to a reputable 14er website, such as “14ers.com” to decide what you should take. The gear list link is http://14ers.com/gearlist.php
