It's the event we've all been waiting for; Rippy's Ranch Days! Saturday August 13, 2011 from 12:00 noon to 6:00pm. There will be something for everyone, including:
- Horseback riding in the arena for kids and adults
- Carriage rides with a team of horses
- Horse shoe games
- Petting zoo with a 35 year old donkey, Perchion pony, goats and other misc. animals
- Live country band (Rippy promised he won't sing)
- Strong man competition-young warriors vs. old (seasoned) warriors relay race at 3:00 pm
Barbecue from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, plates and bottled water all provided. Bring your own drinks other than water (no liquor please) and a side dish or dessert.
Cost is $10.00 per family, $7.00 per couple and $5.00 for singles, with all proceeds going to Warrior At Heart Ministry. There will also be horse shoe crosses, Warrior At Heart shirts and hats available for purchase.
Please RSVP and let us know how many people and what side dish or dessert you plan to bring, so that we may have enough food and water for everyone. We could also use some volunteers to help set up Saturday morning and to help out with some of the events. The address is 1749 14 Road in Loma, CO.
